These cars have won the 12hour production car race at Mt Panorama in Bathurst,Australia 3 years in a row (1992,93 & 94) against competition from Lotus,Maserati,Porsche,Honda (NSX),Ford,GM Holden and others.In 1995 the race was moved to Eastern Creek raceway just outside of Sydney.Porsche decided  that they had better win this year after 3 years of trying to beat the mighty Mazdas so they entered a limited edition "race spec" Porsche 911 RSCS against a limited edition RX7SP model.The Porsche had no stereo,air conditioning,carpet,or roof/door linings yet the RX7SP kept all the trimmings and still kicked their ass for an unprecedented 4th time.This record has never been equlled since by any other manufacturer.
